MEET THE TEAM
Head Of Faculty
I trained at the Northern Ballet School, after graduating I travelled the world as a professional dancer, performing musical theatre. On returning to England, I moved to London and began my dance teaching career within the vocational sector, first at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and then with Tring Park School for the Performing Arts as the Dance Coordinator for the Theatre Arts, Performance Foundation and Drama Courses, and Coordinator of the Holiday Courses. After nine years at Tring I returned home to Yorkshire to raise my family, and I am extremely pleased to be joining the teaching staff at Nova Arts.

Ian Started dancing at the age of 7 in multiple styles. Went to dance college at 16 to further his training in basic technique of Jazz, Ballet, Tap and Contemporary. At 17 started traveling internationally to learn and grow more in Hip Hop and Street Dance. Found a love for teaching along his travels and has been able to make this a huge part of his career. Ian’s dance style is a combination of what he has learned over his years of training but mainly contemporary and hip hop.
